The School District, serving Avoca, Hancock, Shelby, Tennant, and secondary students from Walnut, expanded its secondary building with a middle-school addition in the summer of 2016, followed by a high school renovation in the summer of 2017.
The middle-school installation introduced active learning furniture across four classrooms, enabling students and instructors to easily switch between different learning modes. Based on the positive feedback from this initial project, the high school renovation included updated active learning furniture throughout the wings, along with a new STEM lab to support hands-on, collaborative learning.
Inspired? Same.
Let’s turn that spark into a space that works as good as it looks.
