Sheppard’s Business Interiors partnered with Boys Town and DLR Group to support the development of their three‑story, 110,000‑square‑foot Education Center, an environment designed to serve elementary, middle, and high school students with flexible, future‑ready learning spaces. The facility provides students with opportunities to participate in STEM‑focused activities and hands‑on curriculum, helping prepare them for careers across a wide range of industries. SBI collaborated with DLR Group to understand the educational goals, teaching styles, and programmatic needs of this next‑generation learning environment.
To bring that vision to life, SBI provided durable, adaptable furniture that supports active learning and multiple instructional styles. STEM classrooms were outfitted with flexible seating, mobile tables, and functional storage so students and educators can easily access tools, rearrange layouts, and collaborate with minimal disruption. SBI also furnished the commons and library spaces with comfortable, versatile pieces that accommodate focused study, project work, and group collaboration.
