Sheppard’s Business Interiors supported the creation of The Connect, a 3,000‑square‑foot community technology hub housed within the Highlander Accelerator. Designed to offer free access to essential digital resources, The Connect serves as a classroom, technology lab, and digital library for learners of all ages. The space provides reliable Wi-Fi, printing and hardware rentals, creative software, meeting areas, and hands‑on educational workshops, strengthening digital equity and expanding opportunities for the surrounding community.
Since opening, The Connect has evolved into a vibrant center for innovation and learning, hosting STEM‑based camps, coding programs, and community workshops supported by local partnerships and technology sponsors. SBI helped furnish the environment with flexible, durable pieces that support collaboration, individual study, and technology‑driven activities. The result is an adaptable, community‑centered space that empowers both youth and adults to develop valuable skills and connect with one another.
